Colouring with alcohol pens - Part 3 and 4 (Clare Curd Crafts DT)

Last weeks colouring of the hair

Welcome to the third and final part of my colouring with alcohol pens feature.

This week there are two videos for you on how I finished the colouring of the Gorjuss - New Heights stamps from Clare Curd Crafts.

The first video is how I colour skin. I struggled a bit with the card I used for these videos. I usually use card from my local craft store, which has always been great with my alcohol pens. I think they must have changed suppliers as this is not quite as good. If you have any recommendations please let me know as I am on the look out for another.

The first video shows the skin coloring, and the colours I have used are:

Part 3 - Skin

And here is how it looked after the dried, as they do tend to dry a shade or two lighter

The final part of the process was to colour the books, the shadow and then finally adding the finishing touches. The colours I used for these are:

Part 1 - Last weeks finished dress

Welcome to my Clare Curd Crafts DT day and Part 2 of the Colouring with alcohol pens videos.

Last week I shown you Part 1, where I coloured Gorjuss' dress.

This week I will be colouring her hair, which isn't my strongest point...still need lots of practice but I'm quite pleased how it came out.

I decided instead of black hair I would colour her hair brown/auburn. I wish my hair was that colour...lol :)

 The colours I have used this week are:

Walnut

It's the best stress buster for me!

I really love to colour with my alcohol pens! It's the best stress buster for me.

I came across this digi stamp from Polka Doodles a while back and loved it. So I decided to enter their colouring challenge, which this weeks theme is 'Halloween Colours'. It didn't have to be a Halloween card but you had "to make sure you use Halloween colours such as purple, black, green and orange in your project".

I decided to make a shaped card so the digi stamp could take centre stage.

The Promarker colours I used where:
