Hiya crafty friends,
Well, this year has gone soooooo quick, too quick. I can't believe it is nearly Christmas already.
This year I had a go at making my own hanging pocket advent calender.
It is amazing what you can do with some cardboard boxes, toilet rolls and some wrapping paper. I really had my own little Blue Peter moment...lol!
What I was most pleased about was that the fabulous Creativity Club timed their free advent numbers download just right for me, which was perfect as I was wondering how I would do my numbers :)
Red and gold always feel really Christmassy to me, and I aged the scalloped number circles with Tea Dye distress ink to go with the gold card I had used.
I embellished the pockets with antique gold card die cut, which was embossed with me favourite snowflake embossing folder. Which was free in a magazine :)
Red and gold ribbon was then used the connect the two pieces together and also a length to hang the calender from.
What a stunning Advent Calander hun, this is superb, love it xxxx
