We're still waiting for the lovely Spring weather to arrive here in the UK, but we have had snow...yes, snow.
But, weather aside, Easter is this weekend and I've been busy making gifts. I wanted to make something a bit different this year rather than just your usual chocolate eggs.
I've never really done flower arranging before, but a friend gave me some silk flowers so I thought I would give it a go.
I gave it a little vintage style by adding some lace, twine and a pearl heart.
This gardening gift set was put together in a metal bucket that I spray painted and I cut out the bee design from 651 vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo and added it to the front. I am really happy how this came out.
I found this cute idea on Pinterest and had to have a go at making one. I have a set of pom-pom makers that I love as they're so simple to use, and because they are different sizes I was able to make the head, body and tail very quickly. I added some felt ears and feet and bunny was ready to dig in :)
I added a little white vinyl rabbit to the pot, which again was cut out of 651 vinyl.
The 'carrot' was made by placing mini chocolate eggs into a piping bag, which was gathered at the top with an elastic band and the excess snipped off then a add a green carrot top.
Have a lovely weekend, and don't eat too much chocolate...lol :)
These are so cute, love the designs. Happy Easter hun :)
