Hiya crafty friends,
I'm back!! I've not been able to post for a while because of major issues with my blog, but fingers crossed things are now resolved and I can share all my crafty adventures with you all again.
Well, my first post back with you all is going to be so big and not to overwhelm you with so many photos I am going to do it in parts! Part 2 will be with you tomorrow
I hope you could all tune into the Create and Craft craftinator this morning to see the launch of the stunning new Starlights Collection from Tattered Lace.
I was lucky enough to work with some of the dies before the launch to make samples for the shows.
The first is using the Happy Birthday Starlight Plaque, which I have used to go 'over the edge' the edge of the card (I will post soon how you can achieve this).
I also used the Happy Birthday Starlight Plaque to make this wall hanger
I ABSOLUTELY love this embossing folder set from the Embossing older multibuy. The one I have used is Floral set. I debossed the large background design on to white card that can take alcohol marker pens. I then coloured the recess' using my Promarker/Flexmarkers. The colours I used are:
Large Rose - Pale Blossom (Flexmarker)
Rose Bud - Blossom (Promarker)
Leaves - Meadow Green (Promarker)
Vines/base of buds - Honeydew (Flexmarkers)
Using the corner and border embossing folders that are also included in the set I made the card belo.
The folders are cleverly designed so I was able to deboss all four of the corners of he gold card without flattening any of the designs as I move around.
There are two border folders in the set and I used the first to emboss four strips of kraft card, I then mitered them so I could form the square. The second border folder was used on some more kraft card, which I then coloured the design using Distress Marker Pens and I them fussy cut around the edges and arranged around the Happy Birthday Starlight Plaque and added a double bow which can be made using the Embellishment Attic Bow Maker.
Join me tomorrow, where a share a few more makes.
See you then
