Online Card Classes - Day 3

Hiya crafty friends,

Had another fabulous class today Online Card Class - Pattern Play. I think it has been my favourite up to now.
Today was all about how to work with hard to use pattern papers. Which is such a great idea, as we all have those papers that sit on our shelf that we just don't know what to do with.

So I looked through my paper pad stash and came across this pad that I got free with a magazine, which I have never used. As I found the patterns too scary..lol!  I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.

I found the rose paper paper particularly scary, so I made sure that was the first I took out of the pad. The stripe paper is not a hard to use paper, but I included it for balance.

And here's my card (which was a quick one today, as it's a bit of a busy few days)

I was particularly inspired by one of the tutors called Debby, who I have not come across before but now love her work.

  1. This is sooo pretty. Even if it's a really busy paper with the white it really doesn't overwhelm the card. Fabulous

  4. I like how you've done this. I've a pad full of "rosiness" too and this is a great way to use it with plenty of white. You should check out Debby (limedoodle) - her CAS work is wonderful.

  8. I love how the white background and space really allows your patterned paper to be bold, even though they are the smallest "real estate" on the card. Very nice card!
