A Midas Touch

Hiya crafty friends,

We all go through rough times, don't we, well the past three years have been especially rough for me and my family and things had to be prioritised. So I was really sad that one of those things was I had to resign my position in the Tattered Lace Design Team at the end of last year. I really loved crafting with these dies :)

But now, on a happier note... I'm pleased to say I am back on their design team!!!!! The lovely Kathleen at Tattered Lace has made it possible for me to come back part time, so you wont see as many samples from me as before but I am really happy to be back and share my makes with you all.

So, I have been crafting with products from the Midas Touch Spectacular on Create and Craft tonight at 9pm.

My first set of samples where made using the Pleated Dress Die. I wanted to see what else I could make using this die, apart from the dress itself and here's what I came up with:

Umbrella
(used in conjunction with a Mo Manning digi stamp) which was foiled using the Midas Touch Rainbow Transfer Foil Sheets, which are also on the show.

Butterfly Wings

and the complete dress

My second set of samples are made using the Lacy Clematis die set and the Midas Touch Rainbow Transfer Foil Sheets.

The flowers were coloured using Distress Ink and I also folded some of the die cut flowers to form buds.

I foiled the flowers on to a wreath for this clean and simple card

and I also used the foil and the smallest Clematis flower die to decorate this gift bag
