Caft Bloggers Network Challenge - Springime

Hiya crafty bloggers,

After falling off my fitness wagon. I have decided to start going back to my exercise routine

And as part of this, and also to help combat  and help my fight with my Social Phobia. I am am also going to go to my local Aqua aerobics class. So wish me luck! It's the first time I have ever done anything like this & I'm incredibly nervous...eek!

Anyway, enough of my ramblings and back to the important stuff...

It's Monday, so it that time again...Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge time!!!!

I really enjoyed sitting down and making this project. I found the instruction on how to make the milk carton on the internet, which is made from just one A4 piece of card and a Hougie board. I love it!!! And it is sooooo easy to make. You could really do anything with these cartons, as you can decorate them to suit any occasional. I'm certainly going to be making more of these :)

Recipe:
A peice of A4 cream linen card
Me to you - Spring Chic 6x6 double sided paper
Flower punch
Pink and white pearls
Heart embllshment
Xcut scallop border punch
Border punch
Bulldog clip
Sweets...lol

My own personal Promarker challenge..

Hiya Craft friends,

I reieved my new Limited edition Spring Promakers the other day which prompted me to do some colouring again, and as I had planned to colour an image for Emma Goddard's challenge. When I had finished colouring in that image I decided to set myself a little personal challenge. I set myself the challenge of colouring an image with just one colour (this being Baby Pink) and the blender pen...that's all.

Well this was result...

Seen as though it was coloured with just one colour, I'm quite pleased how it turned out :) But I'm going to practice a bit more to improve it, and I also think it is also a good one to do to help recognise light and shade in an image.

If you would like to challenge yourself with this, I'd love to see your results!!! So I have added the little blue frog below, to link yours, and I will add all the pictures to the Cards Galore Facebook group too :)

Can't wait to see them!

Happy birthday Gran!

Hiya Crafty Friends,

Just a quick post today. My Gran turn's 89 years young today and I couldn't think what kind of card to make her. I was racking my brain for ages! Well, I was in a card shop helping my brother to find a card for her and I ended up buying one myself (I know! A card-maker buying a card...shock horror...lol), but I sort of liked it. But the card-maker in me came to the fore in the end and I just had to do 'something' with it. And this was the result...

So happy birthday Gran (who still makes all our birthday cards too) and...

My Manchester Stitch and craft show success :)

Hiya crafty friends,

Well, I had a good, if not tiring day, yesterday at the Manchester Stitch and craft show. My feet have not quite forgiven my yet. And boy it was raining and cold outside

If you are a regular follower of my blog, you will already know that I suffer from Social Phoba. So going to places like this can be a bit (or, to rephrase that...a lot)...
for me, but I stealed myself, and with my fab mum by my side, I went. I did have a few wobbly moments, but at the end of the day it was...

And it was great to bump into friends, old and new there. One of the new friends was the lovely Linda from Linda Simpson Crafty Piece of Heaven, who was on the Hougie Board stand with Kay Rutter, and she is also part of the admin team over at Cards Galore Facebook Group. Thank you for being so lovely Linda, it made it sooooo much easier for me. You don't realise what a big step for me that was xxx

Anyway, now on to the fun bit. I had been saving up for weeks and weeks, knowing I was going and I must admit I had great fun spending it :) And here is my lovely crafty stash:

I can't wait to get crafting with it!!! My mum got a few bits and bobs too, so there are so many new toys to play with...  My only disappointment was that Lili of the Valley was not there  I love Lili of the Valley. One of the hardest part of the day was not spending all my money on the Inkylicious stand. I could have spent all day (and all my money) at that stall. They have so many gorgeous things, it's hard to pick. I wanted then all :)

Well, I'm off to play with my new craft stash

Happy Crafting
